Women Excel At Texas A&M Challenge|

Senior Alitta Boyd won the women's triple jump to lead the Trojans at the Texas A&M Challenge on Jan. 25-26 in College Station, Texas.
Boyd won the triple jump with a good early-season leap of 42-2.75 (12.87m). She also took second in the long jump with a best jump of 19-6.25 (5.95m).
Among the other top results were junior Jessica Davis finishing second in the 200m (23.96), junior Ashley Liverpool taking sixth in the 400m (54.65) and sophomore Melia Cox (8.62) and freshman Jaide Stepter (8.75) finishing fifth and sixth respectively in the 60m hurdles.
Also, sophomore Kiana Henry took seventh place in the Pentathlon with a five-event score of 2,825. Her highest scoring event was the 60m hurdles in which she posted a time of 9.56 to earn 796 points.
