THIS YEAR: Freshman Allen Williams will add to the Trojans' depth in the hurdles and may help in the jumps. He placed third in the 110m HH at the 2011 U.S. Junior Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Williams prepped at Bishop O'Dowd High in Oakland, Calif. Placed third in the 110m HH Invitational at the Arcadia Invitational with a time of 14.16. Placed second in the triple jump with a PR of 47-3.25 and won the 110m HH with a time of 14.33 at the NCS Bayshore Class A Championships. Williams placed third at the U.S. Junior Championships in the 110m HH with a time of 13.84...He ran a PR of 13.77 in the semifinals.
PERSONAL: Williams was born on June 24, 1993 in Seattle, Wash...Is a Political Science major at USC...His mother Marcheta Williams graduated from USC...Was a honor roll student and National Society of High School Scholars member....Likes to learn about Malcolm X, W.E.B. DuBois and Martin Luther King, Jr...Participated in the Day of the Child with the Black Student Association and went with his USC teammates to Weemes Elementary Day...Likes to sing, watch movies and hang out with friends in his spare time.
