THIS YEAR: Junior Kenneth Thomas is USC's top returning intermediate hurdler.
2004: Thomas had bests of 53.32 in the 400m IH and 14.50 in the 110m HH ... He finished eighth at the Pac-10s in the 110m HH in a time of 14.73.
2003: Thomas had bests of 14.31 in the 110m HH and 52.78 in the 400m IH ... Finished third in the high hurdles and sixth in the intermediates at the dual meet.
2002: Thomas had a solid freshman season, finishing a surprise sixth in the 400m IH at the Pac-10s in a time of 53.69 ... Ran a PR 53.22 at the Sun Angel Invitational ... Was fourth at the UCLA dual meet in the 400m IH ... Also had a PR of 14.32 in the 110m HH.
HIGH SCHOOL: Thomas prepped at Gardena (Calif.) High, where he was the two-time city champ in the 300m IH ... Was his league's champion in the 110m HH and 300m IH ... Had bests of 13.98 in the 110m HH, 37.7 in the 300m IH and 49.2 in the 400m.
PERSONAL: Kenneth was born on Jan. 10, 1983 ... He is an international relations major at USC.
