USC Track & Field To Host Trojan Invitational This Weekend
All-America laden meet features defending NCAA champion Texas A&M & defending Pac-12 champion Oregon
THIS YEAR: Redshirt senior Josh Tennefoss is expected to compete in the 200m and 400m for USC. He is coming off his best season as a Trojan.
2011: Set a PR of 21.84 in the 200m in placing 17th at the Tiny Lister Invitational on April 23. Set his 400m PR of 47.40 in winning at the Occidental Invite on May 7, nearly a second faster than his previous best time. Had run 48.36 in winning the 400m dash at the Pomona Pitzer Invitational on April 9. Placed third in the 400m with a time of 48.30 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1...also placed seventh in the 200m with a time of 22.07. Placed 13th in the 400m with a time of 47.97 at the Pac-10 Championships.
2010: Did not compete.
2009: Josh had a best 200m time of 22.17 and a best 400m time of 48.98.
2008: His best 200m time of 22.67 and best 400m time was 50.72.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, Calif.
PERSONAL: Josh was born on April 20, 1989 in San Francisco...He is a Math and Kinesiology major and Natural Science minor at USC...Is a USC Dean's List student...Is a United States Powerlifting Federation deadlift record-holder in the 90kg class.
