    THIS YEAR: Senior Talia Stewart is coming off her best collegiate season and her considerable talents will be utilized in both hurdles events in 2008.

    2007: Ran the 7th-fastest 400m IH in school history on March 17 at the UNLV Tri-Meet with a winning time of 58.65. Also cracked USC's top 10 (10th) in the 100m HH with a time of 13.56 at the Stanford Invitational on March 31, which gave her a 6th-place finish. Placed 4th in the 400m hurdles (59.11) and 5th in the 100m hurdles (13.83) at the Pac-10 Championships.

    2006: Ran a season-best 400m IH time of 1:01.06 at the Long Beach Relays to place second and won the 100m HH with a time of 14.33...Had a season-best 13.94 in the 100m HH at the Trojan Invitational on March 25...Also ran the third led in USC's winning 4x100m relay at the Trojan Invitational...Had a time of 1:01.85 in the 400m IH preliminaries at the Pac-10 Championships, but did not qualify for the finals.

    2005: Stewart ran a personal best of 59.71 in the 400m IH on May 15 at the Pac-10s to place second...She also finished eighth in the 100m HH with a time of 14.07...She ran a season best in the 100m HH of 14.00 on May 14 in the prelims...Represented the U.S. during the summer at the Pan-American Junior Championships and finished fifth in the 100m HH.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Stewart prepped at James Logan High in Richmond, Calif....She was a prep All-American and two-time state 100m HH champ (2003-04) with a best of 13.33...She also won the 2004 state 300m IH title...She was a three-time CIF Section champion and four-time Mission Valley League champ in the short hurdles...Her best mark in the 300m IH was 41.13...She ran in the 2001 Junior Olympics and tallied a time of 58.86 in the 400m IH.

    PERSONAL: Talia was born on April 10, 1986 in Berkeley, Calif....She is a Business major at USC.
