THIS YEAR: Freshman Terry Prentice is an outstanding talent that will help the Trojans in both the hurdles and the long jump. Has a chance to challenge USC's all-time top 10 lists in the sprint hurdles and long jump.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prentice prepped at Diamond Ranch HS in Pomona, Calif...He had the fastest 110m HH time in the country among high school hurdlers of 13.59...He also had the fourth-farthest high school senior long jump of 24-6 1/4, as well as a wind-aided mark of 25-0. Took fourth place in both events at the USA Junior Championships, after winning the 110m HH and the long jump at the California state meet as a senior...He was a four-time CIF state champion, twice in the 110m HH and twice in the long jump...Also won both events twice at the Golden West Championships...Named a four-time Track & Field News All-American.
PERSONAL: Terry was born on Jan. 7, 1989 in in Fontana, Calif...Likes traveling, watching movies and spending time with his family...His sister Angela also attends USC...Lists his favorite types of music as R&B, Hip-hop and Rock and the movie genres that he likes best as urban films and gangster films...He is a Communications major at USC.
