THIS YEAR: Senior Linsay Oman will provide the Trojans with depth in the high jump and multi events.
2007: Had solid season for USC after a season abroad, setting new PRs in the high jump (5-5, 1.65m) and in the shot put (38-8 3/4, 11.80m). Placed her name in the record books with the 8th-best Trojan heptathlon point total of 4,891 at the California Invitational Heptathlon held in Azusa, Calif. on April 11-12...it was her first heptathlon competition in nearly two years. Placed 13th at the Pac-10 Multi-Events Championships at Stanford on May 5-6 with a two-day total of 4,270 points...had three fouls in the javelin for zero points, after beginning the final day of competition in 9th place. Named to the Pac-10 Conference All-Academic first team.
2006: Oman did not compete in track and field for USC....She is an outstanding student and studied in Europe last season.
2005: Oman was the Trojans' top heptathlete, scoring a season-best 4,542 points and finishing ninth on April 14 at the California Invitational Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific...Had season highs in the 400m IH of 1:04.51, the high jump of 5-4 1/4 and long jump of 17-0.
2004: Had the Trojans' top high jump with a career-best 5-5 on March 20 at the Trojan Invitational to finish fifth.
PERSONAL: Lindsay was born on Nov. 2, 1984 in Golden Valley, Minn.....She is majoring in Communication, Journalism and Related Programs at USC.
