THIS SEASON: Freshman Bryan Mercado will focus on the sprint races for the Trojans.
HIGH SCHOOL: Mercado attended Colony High in Ontario, Calif...Had PRs of 10.87 in the 100m and 21.76 in the 200m...Helped lead Colony to a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay at the California state meet.
PERSONAL: Mercado was born on October 5, 1992 in Anaheim, California. He is from Pomona, California...His hobbies include going to the gym, doing laundry and fishing...His cousin, Nicole Victoria, also attended USC...His favorite movies included anything featuring Will Ferrell...He is a Civil Engineering major at USC.
