THIS YEAR: Sophomore Brett Linkletter begins his second season as a jumper on the track and field team.
2011: Linkletter had a season best in the long jump of 22-2.0 (6.45m) at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 5.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Laguna Beach High where he posted a best long jump of 22-7. Was a Scholar Athlete and a South Section CIF finalist in the long jump.
PERSONAL: Brett was born on February 13, 1992 in Laguna Beach, Calif...His hobbies include skimboarding, surfing and traveling...Lists his athletic role model is Mike Powell...His favorite actors are Brad Pitt and John Wayne...His grandfather, Jack Linkletter, also attended USC...Brett is a Business Administration major at USC.
