    USC Men No. 8 And Women No. 23 In First USTFCCCA T&F Poll

    Trojans at home this weekend hosting among others, No. 1 (M)/No. 6 (W) Texas A&M

    THIS YEAR: Freshman Kyle Iverson adds depth to the Trojans in the middle distances and is expected to be one of USC's top 800m runners.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Iverson is a 2012 graduate of Corona del Mar High in Newport Beach, Calif. Posted a best 800m time of 1:54 at the Arcadia Invitational. Anchored both of the CdM school record-setting 4x400m relay (3:17) and 4x800m relay (7:47.48) teams. The school 4x400m record had stood for 29 years and the 4x800m record for 37 years and was the third-fastest time in the nation by high school runners. Was disqualified in the 800m as a senior at the PCL finals and thus could not compete at CIFs. Was a California Scholarship Federation award winner.

    PERSONAL: Kyle was born on April 15, 1994 in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif...Has a brother Andrew who also attends USC, as did his stepfather...Likes going to the beach in his spare time...His favorite movies are the Batman series and his favorite musical artist is Lupe Fiasco...His favorite foods are pizza and french fries...Would like to visit Spain and Atlantis some day...Lists LeBron James as his sports hero because he does things no one else can do...After USC, Iverson would like to become a sports agent...Is majoring in Business Administration.
