THIS YEAR: Sophomore Natalia Kovtun is a transfer student from the Ukraine who adds strength to the improving Women of Troy distance team. She is expected to run the 1500m, 3000m steeplechase and the 5000m for USC.
BEFORE USC: Transfers to USC from Donetsk University in the Ukraine...Competed at the world junior championships in 2006 in China...Natalia was the best junior 3000m steeplechaser in the Ukraine
PERSONAL: Natalia was born on Oct. 24, 1987 in Donetsk, Ukraine.....She is an undeclared major at USC.
