THIS SEASON: Freshman James Komen adds to the Trojans' depth in the distances.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Thomas Jefferson High in Washington D.C. Had a best time of 4:27 in the 1600m. Coordinated his high school Film Festival and produced a television show for an independent media station.
PERSONAL: James was born on Dec. 11, 1988. Lists his favorite actor as Robert DiNiro, musician as Stevie Ray and movie as Back to the Future. He is a Cinema Critical Studies major at USC. His father was also a Trojan.
