    Trojans Open Up Busy Weekend With Strong Showing At CSULA

    THIS YEAR: Senior Joseph Laetsch will compete as part of USC's strong 400m contingent.

    2012: Laetsch set a PR of 49.58 to finish 11th in the 400m at the CSULA Twilight Meet on April 19. Ran a season-best 22.92 in the 200m dash to finish 19th at the Titan Twilight Meet on March 31....also was 10th in the 400m (50.20) and second as part of USC's 4x400m relay (3:21.17).

    2011: Laetsch had PR of 22.90 in the 200m and 49.83 in the 400m races.

    2010: Had a season-best 400m time of 51.12 in the Dual Meet on May 1.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Peninsula High in Palos Verdes, Calif.

    PERSONAL: Joe was born on Feb. 26, 1991...His parents are Greg and Katy and he has two brothers, Alex (who also attended USC) and Ben....Likes sports, hanging out with friends and investing...His favorite musical group is the Red Hot Chili Peppers and favorite actor is Will Ferrell....Would like to travel to Spain...Joe is majoring in Business with a concentration on Investments and Financial Markets...He is also a member of the Dean's List and has been named to the conference all-academic second team the past two seasons.
