    THIS YEAR: Freshman Jordan Winters begins her first season as a high jumper for the Trojans.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Winters is a 2015 graduate of The Branson School in Ross, Calif. She is the school record-holder with a best jump of 5-5, which ranks third all-time in Marin County. She advanced to the state championships five times in volleyball and track. She was a member of two volleyball state championships and two MCAL championships. Named the Marin Athletic Foundation Outstanding Student-Athlete, was a four-time winner of the Branson Outstanding Female Athlete Award and was a Chilton Fellowship recipient. Was involved with the Student Health Initiative.

    PERSONAL: Jordan was born on January 9, 1997 in Walnut Creek, Calif... Her parents are Joyce and Greg Winters and she has one sibling, Lauren...She is a Broadcast Journalism major and one day would like to run for office or anchor 60 Minutes or the BBC World News...Lists Louie Zamperini as her sports hero because he shows hard work and spirit will get you anywhere....Her favorite food is anything that her mother makes...In her spare time likes to do Yoga and go paddle boarding...Says her favorite movie is The Dark Knight.
