THIS YEAR: Nathan Gwozdz will add to the Trojans strength in the high jump.
HIGH SCHOOL: Gwozdz was the runner up at the Cal state meet with a height of 6-9, same as the winner, but he had more misses...Was also the runner up at the Arcadia Invitational with a jump of 6-9 3/4, again the same heigh as the winner...Won the Mt. Sac Relays high jump for high school boys with a jump of 6-8...Has a personal best of 6-10 1/4...Was the San Diego Section champion.
PERSONAL: Nathan was born on July 17, 1987 in La Jolla, Calif....His father was a world class high jumper in Poland...He is undecided in his choice of major at USC.
