THIS YEAR: Senior Leah Gaeta is a member of the USC distance corps.
2011: Competed for USC in the 3000m and 5000m races. Had a season-best time of 10:24.45 in the 3000m at the Trojan Invitational on March 19 and a best 5000m time of 18:06.14 at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 5.
2010: Set a PR in the 1500m race of 4:41.05 at the Trojan Invitational on March 13.
2009: As a freshman, Leah posted a PR of 4:44.30 in the 1500m. She was also named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Palo Alto Senior High in Palo Alto, Calif.
PERSONAL: Leah was born on Sept. 18, 1990 in La Jolla, Calif...She is a Chemistry major at USC...Enjoys watching basketball and lists her favorite athletes as Lance Armstrong and Steve Nash.
