2008: She established PRs last season in the 1500m (4:38.29) and in the 3000m steeplechase (11:19.07). Her steeplechase time was set on May 10 at the Occidental Invitational and ranks as the seventh-best all-time by a Trojan female. Picked up three crucial points for USC in its win over UCLA at the Dual Meet on May 3 with a second-place finish in the 3000m SC with a time of 11:27.27.

2007: Specialized in the 3000m steeplechase as a freshman. She placed fifth at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet with a time of 11:49. Had a season-best time of 10:51.47 in the 3000m run at the Trojan Relays on March 3.

Cross country: 2008 -- Was USC's top runner at the season-opening UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 19:01.80 to place 39th. Had a 6K time of 22:25.82 at the Pepperdine Invitational, then ran an 18:03 5K at the Roadrunner Invitational to help USC to it second consecutive win. Was USC's fifth scoring runner at the Pac-10s with a new 6K PR of 22:14.25 and and at the West Regional with a time of 22:39.55. 2007 -- Missed the first three meets of the season with a hamstring injury, but was one of USC's scoring runners in all four meets she competed. Ran a new PR in the 6K with a time of 22:48.00 at the Pac-10 Championships to place 65th. Advanced to the NCAA West Regional where she placed 139th with a time of 22:57.25. 2006 -- Made steady progress throughout the season and was one of USC's top five finishers in all six meets. Ran at the Pac-10 Championships at Stanford and placed 68th with a 6K personal best of 24:01.63.

High School: Ellis is a 2006 graduate of Columbia River High in Vancouver, Wash... Ran cross country and track and field at Columbia River High where her team won the 3A District 4 cross country championship twice...She was the 3A District 4 3200m champion four times and won the 1600m championship once...Her best cross country time as a senior was 18:53, her best 3200m time was 11:23 and best 1600m time was 5:20...Was a national merit scholar in high school.

Personal: Lists listening to music as a favorite pastime...Chose USC for its great academics and the friendly people...Is an electrical engineering major at USC. Has been named to the Pac-10 XC All-Academic second team the last two seasons.
