    THIS YEAR: Senior William Denbo teams with senior Noah Bryant to form one of the top shot duos in the country.

    2006: Denbo had a strong junior season which culminated with another NCAA qualification, but he did not reach the finals...He did, however, place fourth in the shot at the NCAA West Regional with a throw of 60-10 1/2 (18.55m)...At the Pac-10 Championships, he placed thrid with a career-best shot of 62-6 3/4 (19.07m), which was also placed him seventh on USC's all-time shot put list...Took third in the shot at the UCLA-USC Dual Meet with a shot of 60-8...Had a career-best hammer throw of 179-4 (54.67m) at the Triton Invitational on April 21.

    2005: Denbo placed seventh at the NCAA West regional in the shot with a throw of 59-11...Tied his career best with a throw of 62- 0 1/2 on April 9 at the APU Meet of Champions.

    2004: Denbo was a consistent 60-footer as a redshirt freshman, hitting his best marks in big meets...He finished a surprise fourth at the Pac-10s with a distance of 62-0 1/2...Took fourth at the NCAA West Regionals with a mark of 61-2 1/4...Threw 61-9 at the UCLA dual meet. 2003: Denbo redshirted in 2003, his first season at USC...Over the summer of 2003, he took third in the shot at the U.S. Junior Championships with a throw of 61-10 1/4 and was also 24th in the hammer with a mark of 163-10.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Denbo was a two-time shot put All-American and All-State performer while attending Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tenn....Had a best of 64-0 1/4 in the prep shot... Was also All-State in football as an offensive guard.

    PERSONAL: Denbo was born on Feb. 24, 1984...He is a Public Policy and Management major at USC.
