THIS YEAR: Sophomore Christian Sourapas joins the sprints team this year. This will be his first year competing with the Trojans, following a season at Oregon.
BEFORE USC: Sourapas was a member of the University of Oregon track and field team in 2016 before transferring to USC. He competed with the Ducks in the outdoor events, but he redshirted for the indoor events. He has a 100m wind-legal PR of 10.69 run in placing 13th at the Pac-12 Championships. He has bests of 10.52w in the 100m and 21.49 in the 200m. He was a member of the Oregon 4x100m Relay team that ran the second fastest time in school history and finished 10th at the NCAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sourapas graduated from Francis W. Parker in 2015. He has bests of 10.82 in the 100m and 21.49 in the 200m. He was 1st Team All-CIF San Diego Section and 2015 CIF San Diego 200m champion. He is the holds the record for the 100m and the 200m.
