    Trojans Win 12 Events; Cox leaps into top 10

    THIS SEASON: Sophomore Anna Burger will add depth to the Trojans' middle distance crew.

    2011: Had a season-best 800m time of 2:19.29 to place second in her heat at the Northridge Invitational on March 12. Also had a best 400m time of 60.44 at the Trojan Quad-Meet on April 2. Ran for the cross country team in the fall with a best 5K time of 19:59.2 at the UC Irvine Invitational on Sept. 10 and had a 6K time of 24:51.19 at the CS Northridge Invitational on Oct. 21.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Burger is a 2010 graduate of Fairview High School in Boulder, Colo. As a freshman she ran the third leg in Fairview's winning high school girls 4x800m relay at the Texas Relays with a time of 9:24.45...running anchor on that team was former Trojan Sarah Cocco. Earned AP Honors with Distinction while at Fairview. Had a high school best 800m time of 2:21.00. Also ran cross country at Fairview with her team finishing 12th at the 2008 Colorado state championship meet with Burger running 20:44.88 to finish 94th.

    PERSONAL: Anna is from Boulder, Colorado...Her grandfather also attended USC...Her favorite hobby is listening to country music...She is a kinesiology major at USC.
