    THIS YEAR: Senior Ashley Liverpool had a strong first season at USC, after transferring from Iowa after her sophomore season. Earned second-team All-America honors as part of USC's 4x400m relay team last season and ran the 10th-fastest 400m time in school history.

    2013: Anchored USC's 4x400m relay team which took 11th at the NCAA Championships with a time of 3:34.44 to earn second-team All-America honors. Finished 18th at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in the 400m race with a time of 54.15...ran 53.53 in the semifinals. Ran anchor for the 4x400m relay team of Akawkaw Ndipagbor, Vanessa Jones, Jenna Puterbaugh and Liverpool which placed seventh at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds with a time of 3:32.31 to better their eighth-place standing on USC's all-time list. Took sixth place in the 400m race at the Pac-12 Championships on May 12 with a time of 53.05...had a season-best time of 53.04 in the semifinals which ties her for 10th place on USC's all-time list. Ran anchor and outdueled ASU's Brianna Tate and Arizona Olympican Georganne Moline down the stretch to earn USC the Pac-12 4x400m relay title...the team of Ndipagbor, Jones, Puterbaugh and Liverpool set the Loker Stadium record with a winning time of 3:32.39. Placed second in the 400m race with a time of 53.06 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on April 27...Also anchored the winning 4x400m relay which posted a time of 3:39.69.

    BEFORE USC: Liverpool began her collegiate career at Iowa where she ran a 400m PR of 52.47 to take second place at the 2012 Big Ten Championships. That time ranks third on the Iowa all-time list for a female. Her best 200m time of 23.98 which she ran at the Arkansas Spring Invite, ranks 10th all-time for an Iowa female. She ran a 52.81 to place 13th in the 400m at the 2012 NCAA Championships to earn second team All-America honors. Also ran on the 4x400m relay team whch placed 16th with a time of 3:38.68. Finished sixth in the 400m at NCAA West Preliminary Rounds with a time of 53.36. She was also a key runner on the Hawkeye's relay teams which posted the ninth-fastest 4x100m and sixth-fastest 4x400m times in school history. In the 2011 indoor season she ran a leg on the school record-setting 4x400m relay team which ran 3:36.97 at the Iowa State Last Chance Meet. Was runner-up in 400 meters (54.09) and ran lead leg on 1,600-meter relay that placed second (3:37.58) at 2011 Big Ten Indoor Championships. Outdoors she anchored the 2011 Big Ten champion 4x400m relay team which ran 3:36.51 which ranks third all-time at Iowa. Ran the third leg on school record-setting 1,600-meter relay that placed fourth at the 2011 Drake Relays in 3:35.93. Ran the third leg on 1,600-meter relay that placed 11th at the 2011 NCAA West Regional (3:37.27) and 22nd at the NCAA Championships (3:38.98), earning honorable mention All-America honors. Placed seventh in 400 meters at Big Ten Championships (55.00), third at Musco Twilight XII (54.24), fifth at War Eagle Invite (54.02), and ran 55.10 at NCAA West Regional. Ran the third leg on Drake Relays champion sprint medley relay that set school record of 3:48.63.

    HIGH SCHOOL -- Liverpool is a 2010 graduate of Walnut Hills HS in Cincinnati, Ohio where she set the school records in the 400m dash and as part of the 4x100m, sprint medley, distance medley, 4x400m and 800m relays. She was a two-time runner-up in the 400m race at the state meet and led her team to league and regional titles her senior season and to the state title in 2008. She was named the Walnut Hills best female athlete in 2010. She also played on the soccer team and was a two-time scholar athlete.

    PERSONAL: Ashley was born on Feb. 11, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio...Parents names are Jackqueline and Lee May, Jr. and Gregory Liverpool...She has four brothers....Lists Drake as her favorite musical artist...Is a Psychology major at USC.
