THIS YEAR: Senior Nate Anderson looks to build on a solid season running the 400m, 800m and on the 4x400m relay team, which he earned All-American honors in last season.

2009: Took third place in the 400m at the West Regional (season best 46.66) and fourth place at the Pac-10 Championships. Also ran a leg on USC's 4x400m relay team with won at the Pac-10s and Regional, before placing seventh at the NCAA Championships with a time of 3:40.18, eighth-fastest in school history.

2008: Had an injury-plagued season, yet was able to post a career-best 800m time of 1:50.27 at the Trojan Invitational on March 22. Showed his toughness by winning his heat and placing second overall in the Mt. SAC U/O 800m race with a time of 1:50.59 on April 20 while running with a cast on his wrist. Ran the third leg of USC's winning 4x400m relay team at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 3. At the Pac-10s, he ran the anchor leg for USC's 4x400m relay team which took third. Ran 1:50.85 in the 800m prelims and did not qualify for the finals. Ran the leadoff leg for USC's West Regional-winning 4x400m relay team which posted a time of 3:05.16.

2007: Had a season best in the 400m of 46.95 at the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, Calif. on March 10. Placed first in the 400m at the Long Beach Invitational with a time of 47.26 on April 14. Finished second to teammate Lionel Larry in the 400m (47.12) at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on April 28. Took fifth in the 400m at the Pac-10 Championships held at Stanford from May 12-13 with a time of 47.07.

HIGH SCHOOL: Slowed by an injured hamstring during his senior season at Benson Polytechnic High in Portland, Ore...Ran a 46.47 400m race as a junior and is the Oregon state record holder in the event...Was a High School All-American.

PERSONAL: Nate was born on Sept. 28, 1987 in Portland, Ore...Says singing is a hobby of his...He is an American Studies major at USC.
