    THIS YEAR: Senior All-American Alexis Faulknor returns for her final season of competing in the sprints and jumps for USC. She transferred to USC from UCF in 2013 and has been a key member of the Trojan program since her arrival on campus. She ranks 10th on USC’s all-time 100m and 200m dash lists.

    2015: Had a strong season as a sprinter and jumper which culminated with a PR of 11.26 (+1.8) in the 100m in the preliminary rounds at the USATF Championships on June 25 which ranks 10th all-time by a Trojan. She also had a PR in the 200m of 22.97 (+0.5) in the prelims at the USATFs to advance to the semifinals where she placed 14th with a time of 23.16 (+1.5)…that time also ranks 10th on USC’s all-time list. She had a wind-aided PR of 11.18 (+3.0w) to finish ninth at the NCAA Championships, one spot short of reaching the finals. At the Pac-12 Championships, she won the long jump title with a wind-aided best mark of 21-0.75/6.42m (+3.7w)…she also had a season-best legal jump of 20-9.25/6.33m (-2.7) in her series. She went on to finish 15th in the LJ at the West Regional with a jump of 20-1.50/6.13m (+2.2w). Also at the Pac-12s, she was third in the 200m with a then-PR of 23.08 (+0.7) and fourth in the 100m with a time of 11.36 (+1.1). She ran the third leg on USC’s 4x100m relay which ran 43.10 to set the Pac-12 Championships meet record and ranks third all-time on the Trojans’ all-time list. She earned All-America honors with the 4x100m relay team which took third with a time of 43.27, which ranks fifth on USC’s all-time list. During the indoor season she set PRs in the 60m (7.27) and the 200m (23.99). She won the MPSF long jump title with a PR of 20-5.25/6.23m and finished fifth in the 60m (7.34).

    2014: Earned All-America honors running the third leg on USC's 4x100m relay team which placed second at the NCAA Championships with the second-fastest time in school history of 43.00, just .04 seconds off the USC record. Faulknor placed third in the long jump with a season-best leap of 20-4.50 (6.21m) at the Pac-12 Championships...also placed fourth in the 100m dash (11.53) and ninth in the 200m race (23.94). She advanced to the NCAA West Regional in the 100m and long jump where she placed 13th in both, one position shy of advancing to the NCAA Championships in each event...her 100m time was 11.61 (+0.4) and had a long jump of 19-10.75 (6.06m). She took second in the 100m dash with a season legal-best time of 11.45 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 4...she also took second in the 200m dash that day with a PR of 23.48. Faulknor posted a wind-aided 100m season best of 11.38 (+2.8w) at the Florida Relays on April 4.

    2013: During her freshman campaign at UCF, Faulknor earned first team All-America honors in the 4x100m relay as the Knights took second at the 2013 NCAA Championships with a time of 43.36. She also finished 14th in the 100m dash with a time of 11.37w to earn second team All-America honors. UCF's 4x100m relay team set a school record with a time of 43.15 in the semifinals at the NCAA Championships which is the eighth-fastest clocking all-time by a collegiate women's quartet. She earned Conference-USA Indoor and Outdoor Championships Freshman of the Meet, was the C-USA outdoor long jump and 4x100m relay champion, took third in the 200m final and fourth in the 100m dash. During her freshman season she established PRs of 7.43 in the 60m dash, 11.42 (legal) in the 100m, 23.55 in the 200m and 21-4.75 (6.52m) in the long jump. Her long jump mark would rank fourth on USC's all-time long jump list. Following the NCAA season, she was a two-time gold medal winner at the 2013 Pan American Junior Championships. She won the long jump with a leap of 20-5.75 (6.24m) on Aug. 24 and then came back to win gold running the third leg for USA's 4x100m relay team (43.97) on Aug. 25 at the Pan American Junior Championships held in Medellin, Colombia.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Faulknor competed at Serra High and helped lead her team to its first state championship in school history in 2012, capturing the long jump and 4x100m titles and taking a silver medal in the 100m and 200m dashes. She set the Serra record in the 100m, 200m and long jump and was named the Daily Breeze 2012 Track and Field Athlete of the Year.

    PERSONAL: Alexis was born on September 22, 1994 in Los Angeles, Calif...Her parents are Chris and Ann and she has a brother, Chris...Her father ran for Jamaica in the 1988 Olympics on the 4x100m relay team and her mother (formerly Ann Foster) won the NCAA Division II triple jump title four consecutive seasons while at Abilene Christian. Faulknor's hobbies include making people laugh...Her favorite food is any type of chicken...Her favorite musician is Beyonce...She is a Human Biology major and is involved in Autism Walks...Hopes to go to the Olympics some day.
