    400m, 4x400m

    THIS YEAR: Redshirt junior Alex Rohani returns to action after missing most of the last two seasons with injuries. He had a solid first season of competing in the 400m race for the Trojans. He won the California high school state 400m title in 2012.

    2016: Ran for the first time since the 2014 season at the Cardinal & Gold Challenge on March 26 and posted a time of 48.14 in the 400m. He took fourth in the 200m at the California Collegiate with a time of 22.19 on April 2. Then ran a 22.08 200m at the Pepsi Invitational on April 9, but injured his leg during the relay and was done for the season.

    2015: Rohani redshirted and did not compete in any meets.

    2014: Rohani kept improving throughout the year, running a PR of 46.68 to place fourth at the Pac-12 Championships on May 18. He also took second in the 400m race with a time of 46.98 at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 4. He advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary rounds where he had a time of 47.15 to place 28th. He also set a 200m PR of 21.48 (+0.9) at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational on March 8.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Rohani graduated in 2013 from Beverly Hills High in Beverly Hills, Calif. He posted a PR of 46.71 in the 400m dash to place third at the 2013 California State meet. He was the reigning state champion in the 400m dash as he won in 2012 with a time of 47.34. Rohani also won the 400m title in 2012 for the Ocean League, CIF-Southern Section Division III and CIF Southern Section Masters Meet. Rohani has a PR of 21.79w in the 200m.

    PERSONAL: Alex was born on February 21, 1995 in Los Angeles, Calif...His parents are Zahra and Shardad and he has a sister, Sara...His hobbies include spending time with family and friends, playing video games and playing basketball...His favorite food is chicken kabobs...His favorite actor is Tom Cruise, favorite musician is childish Gambino, favorite movie is A Night at the Roxbury and favorite TV show is Breaking Bad...Lists Kobe Bryant as his sports hero because of his strong work ethic and ability to always come through in the clutch...Hopes to travel to France and Italy someday...He has not yet declared a major at USC.
