THIS YEAR: Redshirt senior Aleec Harris will be in his second season as a 110m hurdler for USC. He had an immediate impact on the program in his first season and looks to enter USC's all-time top 10 list in the high hurdles. Harris transferred to USC from Barton College for the 2012 season, but redshirted that season as he recovered from achilles surgery.

2013: Harris won his first five 110m HH races as a Trojan at the Claremont Relays, the Beach Invitational, the Ben Brown Invitational, the Northridge Invitational, and the Trojan Invitational. His times were 14.21, 14.00, 14.14, 14.24, and 13.91 respectively. His time of 14.21 at the Claremont Relays was faster than any Trojan ran during the 2012 season, a sign of good things to come. At the Ben Brown Invitational, he was the only USC male athlete to claim a title. Placed 10th at the Florida Relays with a time of 13.89. This time was the third-best among collegiate runners at the time. Won the men's 110m HH Olympic Development race at the Mt. SAC Relays with a season-best wind-aided (+3.3) time of 13.55. This time matched his wind-legal PR set while running in junior college. Won the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on April 27 with a time of 13.69. False-started at the Pac-12 Championships and was disqualified. Ranked second in the Pac-12 and seventh in the country with a time of 13.55. Advanced out of the NCAA Preliminary Rounds with the seventh-best time of 13.67 (+2.1w). Finished 21st overall at the NCAA Championships with a time of 14.13. Earned honorable mention All-America honors

2012: Harris was looked upon last season to fill the void with the graduation of 110m hurdlers Brendan Ames and Oscar Spurlock, but he was never able to compete and used it as a redshirt season. Harris was coming off an achilles injury which had caused him to miss the end of the 20011 season.

BEFORE USC: Harris from Barton Community College was the 2010 Junior College champion in the 110m HH with a time of 13.95. Set a PR of 13.55 in winning the 110m HH College at the Texas Relays...Ran a 13.75 in the semifinals. He had a 60m HH indoor best of 7.79 in placing third at the 2011 Tyson Invitational.
