Trojans Open Up Busy Weekend With Strong Showing At CSULA
Leckie wins men's 1500m race
THIS YEAR: Redshirt sophomore Aaron Adkins looks to build upon his freshman season's success and provide the Trojans with depth in the middle distances.
2011: Was injured and did not compete.
2010: Had a season-best 800m time of 1:52.84 at the Occidental Invitational on May 8. Placed seventh in the 800m race at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1 with a time of 1:54.08.
HIGH SCHOOL: Adkins prepped at Las Vegas High. Was the state 800m champion. Also holds the all-time regional record in the 800m.
PERSONAL: Aaron was born on April 2, 1991...Enjoys shooting films and playing music...His favorite movie is The Hurricane and his favorite musician is Bill Withers...He is undecided upon a major at USC.
