    THIS YEAR: Redshirt junior Aaron Adkins returns as one of USC's top 800m runners.

    2012: Returned to action last season and had a season-best time of 1:56.42 in the 800m race at the Beach Invitational on March 3.

    2011: Was injured and did not compete.

    2010: Had a season-best 800m time of 1:52.84 at the Occidental Invitational on May 8. Placed seventh in the 800m race at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on May 1 with a time of 1:54.08.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Adkins graduated with honors in 2009 from Las Vegas High. Was the state 800m champion in 2009. Also holds the all-time regional record in the 800m. Was the co-founder of the Stussy Clothing fundraiser for the Las Vegas HS track team.

    PERSONAL: Aaron was born on April 2, 1991...His parents are Dean Adkins and Debra Black and he has two siblings, Chis and Phil...Enjoys shooting films and playing music...His favorite movie is The Hurricane and his favorite musician is Bill Withers...Says his sports hero is 1500m world-record holder Hicham El Guerrouj...He is an English major at USC.
