MINNEAPOLIS – No. 4 USC Women's Golf concluded the second day of competition at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at the Royal Golf Club in Minneapolis. The Women of Troy showed up big during the second round as they are now tied for first place by going one under par as a team.
Elise Lee led the way for the Trojans again today, building off her first-round performance. She had three birdies and an eagle to go four under par, bringing her to six under par for the tournament. This is good enough to be tied for second place individually and is one stroke behind the golfer in first place.
Jasmine Koo also had a strong performance for the Trojans today, securing a hole-in-one on a par three using her five-iron. Along with that, she had four birdies on the day, which helped her finish three under par for the second round. She jumped 20 spots in the rankings with this performance as she is now tied for 12th.
Catherine Park and Sarah Hammett were the other two Trojans whose scores counted in today's team score. Park was steady all day long, going even on the day. Hammett had a strong back nine in her first tournament for the Cardinal and Golf. This allowed her to finish the day going two over par.
