Men's Golf
USC placed 14th at the NCAA Championships, hosted by Northwestern, last week. The Trojans shot 37-over-par, 25 strokes behind the winner, Pepperdine. Senior Chad Wright was Troy's top finisher, shooting a 291 and tying for 30th place. Senior Brian Hull tied for 42nd at 293 and senior Roger Tambellini tied for 52nd at 295.
Men's and Women's Track and Field
Twelve members of the men's team and 11 members of the Women of Troy meet the rest of the nation's best in Bloomington, Ind., at the NCAA Outdoor Championships this week. The USC men's team is fresh off winning the Pac-10 Championships in Seattle (May 24-25), which was Troy's first league title since 1977 and 30th overall. The Women of Troy finished second at the recent Pac-10s, a year after winning their first-ever conference crown.
