Athletes of the Week
Ivelina Boteva, Women's Rowing Boteva, a freshman, won the 2,000 meters on an ergometer at the World Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston on Sunday and broke the junior world record in a time of 6:37.9. Seth Etherton, Baseball Etherton, a senior righthander, improved to 4-0 in four starts after beating Arizona, 10-3, on Friday. He went eight innings and struck out nine while allowing four hits, four walks and one run. Patrick Gottesleben, Men's Tennis Gottesleben, a sophomore, won all three of his singles matches (at No. 1 or No. 2 on the ladder) and two of his three doubles matches with Akram Zaman at the ITA Team Indoor Championships over the weekend.
