Hill began her time at USC immediately after earning her master's degree in kinesiology and health promtion at the University of Kentucky. While at Kentucky, she handled the men's and women's swimming and diving team. After her undergraduate education, she worked as an intern at Northwestern where she worked with the men's soccer and women's lacrosse programs.
