    Jupiter, Preuss, Lee and McNeal Named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week

    Alex Jupiter of the women's volleyball team, Tobias Preuss of the men's water polo team, as well as Marqise Lee and Curtis McNeal of the football team, were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Nov. 14) for the week of November 7-13.

    Alex Jupiter: Women's Volleyball: Jupiter combined for 30 kills and 41.5 points in sweeps at Oregon State and No. 20 Oregon. In addition to averaging 5.00 kills and 6.92 points per set, she hit .324 with eight service aces, 23 digs (3.83 digs per set) and four blocks (0.67 blocks per set). With the sweeps, the Trojans are the No. 1 team in the nation, according to this week's AVCA Coaches Poll released on Monday. Against OSU, Jupiter tallied 16 kills, three aces, eight digs and a solo block while hitting .289. Against the Ducks, she had 14 kills, hit .367 and posted a career-high five service aces, while also adding 15 digs and three solo blocks. Jupiter was also named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.

    Tobias Preuss: Men's Water Polo: Preuss delivered four goals in two USC wins, including two scores during overtime in an 11-10 win over host No. 7 Pacific. After a pair of goals in a 10-5 home win over No. 13 Concordia, Preuss came up big for USC in a tense MPSF win at Pacific. In the first overtime frame, Preuss punched in two goals to take the Trojans ahead 11-9 with one OT frame left, and USC would hold on to claim an 11-10 victory over the host Tigers. The win was USC's 10th straight. Preuss had scored just 10 goals on the year entering this week's games, and now holds 14 after his key scores for the Trojans this week. USC is now 19-2 overall and stays undefeated in MPSF play at 7-0 with the win at Pacific.

    Marqise Lee / Curtis McNeal: Football: Lee, totaled 162 all-purpose yards in Saturday's 40-17 win over Washington, including nine catches for 74 yards and a touchdown as well as an 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Lee was named Pac-12 Special teams Player of the Week. McNeal, rushed for a career-high 148 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries for an average of 8.2 yards per attempt.
