Alex Jupiter of the women's volleyball team and Joel Dennerley of the men's water polo team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Oct. 31) for the week of October 24-30.

Alex Jupiter: Women's Volleyball: Senior All-America outside hitter Alex Jupiter recorded 15 kills and a season-high 18 digs Saturday as the No. 4 USC Women of Troy earned a Pac-12 Conference sweep at the No. 2 California Golden Bears, 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-22). Jupiter registered 16 kills and 11 digs in Friday's loss to Stanford. Against Stanford, Jupiter reached 1,700 career kills, becoming only the second player in USC history to reach that milestone.

Joel Dennerley: Men's Water Polo: Goalie Joel Dennerley tacked up 14 saves, including a 5-meter penalty block, to back up USC's 8-4 win over No. 3 Stanford. Dennerley's save vs. the penalty shot kept the Cardinal from cutting it a one-goal game in the second period of play and helped set up a three-goal scoring run for the Trojans to take a 6-1 lead. He would go on to make nine more saves in the second half of play as the Trojans moved out of reach of Stanford, getting the win to stand as the only team undefeated in MPSF play to date. Dennerley was averaging 4.8 goals-against and 8.9 saves entering the weekend on the way into the 8-4 win on 14 saves from the senior goalie. USC is now 15-2 overall and 5-0 in MPSF play.
