Karter Haug of the USC Women's soccer team and Jeremy Davie of the Men's water polo team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Oct. 25) for the week of October 18-24.

Karter Haug , Women's Soccer: The senior Haug, served up arguably the most memorable assist of her career when the defender lofted a long ball deep in the 86th minute of play to set up the game-winning goal for the Trojans in their rivalry match against UCLA. Haug's winning assist helped USC to its first Pac-10 win over the Bruins since 1998, and came in front of a record-breaking crowd at the Coliseum. USC broke the NCAA attendance record for a regular-season game with 8,527 fans in attendance for the game. But Haug's winning assist was just part of her key force on the field for the Trojans. The senior defender put a stop to many Bruin attacks, and helped USC shut out UCLA to record the Trojans' first shutout in 10 games. She now has three assists this season, to hold eight in her career to date.

Jeremy Davie, Men's Water Polo: Davie, a freshman, scored three goals in the final nine minutes of play to help USC get UC Santa Barbara out of reach to end the Trojans' two-game losing skid with a 13-9 victory. In addition to his game-high three goals, Davie furthered USC's cause by earning four 6-on-5 opportunities and also adding a field block and a steal. The freshman now leads USC in scoring with 31 goals to date
