Amy Rodriguez of the women's soccer team and Fili Moala of the football team were named USC's Wells Fargo Student-Athletes of the week today (Oct. 13) for the week of Oct. 6-12.

Rodriguez, a senior forward, helped lead USC to a win and a tie this weekend against the Washington schools and push the team's unbeaten streak at home to 19 matches. Rodriguez scored two goals in the 3-2 overtime win vs. No. 16 Washington, scoring in the first half to tie the game at 1-1 and then knocking in the game-winner 4:21 into the extra period.

The senior defensive tackle Moala was instrumental in USC's 28-0 shutout of Arizona State on Saturday as he had three tackles, a fumble recovery and two blocked field goals. He blocked field goals of 29 and 48 yards on consecutive series in the third quarter, tying an NCAA record for blocked kicks in a quarter.
