Elizabeth Eddy of the Women's soccer team and Robert Woods of the football team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Oct.11) for the week of October 4 -10.

Elizabeth Eddy, Women's Soccer: The freshman forward Eddy's hat trick led the Women of Troy to a thrilling 5-4 overtime win over #21 Cal on Sunday. Eddy's hat trick was the first by a Trojan in Pac-10 play since 1997. Eddy's third goal of the game came in the 89th minute to tie the game at 4-4 and force overtime where Ashli Sandoval put away the game-winner and sealed the victory for the Trojans.

Robert Woods, Football: The freshman receiver Woods had a career day as he caught 12 passes for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns in USC's loss to # 16 Stanford over the weekend. Woods just missed setting school reception and receiving yardage records last weekend and is 20th nationally in all-purpose yards.
