Alyssa Dávila of the women's soccer team and Joe McKnight of the football team were selected the USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Sept. 14) for the week of Sept. 7-13.

The junior midfielder Dávila anchored an important winning weekend for the Trojans as she posted her second career multiple-goal game with a pair of strikes in USC's 2-0 shutout of Gonzaga on Sept. 11. She now has eight career game-winning goals to rank No. 5 all-time in that category at USC. The two-goal outing moves Dávila up to 15 career goals - the eighth best mark at USC. Two days later, Dávila helped USC get a comeback win over Michigan as she set up the game-winning score in the 82nd minute, getting an assist on the winning goal as USC improved to 3-3 overall with the 2-1 victory.

Joe McKnight, Football: The junior running back led USC with 60 rushing yards and was a key player in the Trojans' game-winning 86-yard drive at Ohio State on Sept. 12. McKnight had 32 yards rushing and 21 receiving on the final drive and caught the two-point conversion attempt with 1:05 left to give USC a three-point margin of victory. The Trojans improved to 2-0 and remained No. 3 in the national rankings.
