The sophomore Songe finished tied for fifth individually and helped lead USC to a second-place finish at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships held in Wilmington, N.C. Song had a four-day total of -5 (283) and helped lead the Trojans back to within one stroke of winner Purdue. It was her sixth top 5 finish this season.
The senior Farah helped lead defending champion USC into the NCAA men's tennis semifinals by virtue of wins over Kentucky and 2009 runner-up Ohio State. Farah teamed with Steve Johnson to clinch the doubles point and then led at No. 1 singles before his match was suspended in the 4-0 win over Kentucky. He came back with Johnson to clinch the doubles point vs. Ohio State and then in singles clinched the match with his 6-1, 6-4 victory over the Buckeyes' Chase Buchanan.
