Brysun Stately and Ahmad Rashad of the track and field team and Andrew Triggs of the baseball team were named the USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (May 3) for the week of April 26-May 2.

The redshirt senior Stately broke her school record in the pole vault and became USC's first female vaulter to clear 14-0 feet (4.27m) in winning the USC-UCLA Dual Meet pole vault competition in Westwood, Calif. on May 1. Her win in the pole vault snapped at least an 11-year stranglehold in that event by the Bruins and helped lead USC to a 106-57 win over the Bruins, the most lopsided in the competition's history.

The sophomore Triggs threw 7.0 shutout innings in USC's 6-0 win over No. 19 Arizona at Dedeaux Field on Friday, April 30. Triggs allowed three hits, while walking just one and striking out eight and also retired the side in order four times. He outdueled Arizona ace Kurt Heyer who had been a perfect 6-0 entering the game.

The senior Rashad won both the 100m and 200m dashes to help lead the Trojans to a 96-67 win in the USC-UCLA Dual Meet held in Westwood, Calif on May 1. Rashad won the 100m race with a time of 10.25 and the 200m race with a time of 20.93. His 100m time was the third-fastest wind-legal race by a college runner this season, although he has has already posted a wind-aided time of 10.08. In just his first 200m race of the season, Rashad posted the second-fastest time in the conference this season
