    Dronberger And Ciarelli Named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week

    Kristen Dronberger of the women's water polo team and Tony Ciarelli of the men's volleyball team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (April 18) for the week of April 11-17.

    Women's Water Polo: Kristen Dronberger: USC senior Kristen Dronberger tallied three goals and three steals in her final home game as a Trojan. Her team-high scoring and strong defensive play helped anchor USC to an important 13-10 win over No. 7 San Jose State in MPSF action. With the three-goal day, Dronberger now holds 33 goals scored this year to match her highest single-season scoring total during her career.

    Men's Volleyball: Tony Ciarelli: Ciarelli was AVCA National Player of the Week (April 18) as he led the No. 1-ranked USC to wins over No. 8 UCLA (he had a team-best 16 kills while hitting .433 and he served 3 aces) and No. 6 UC Santa Barbara (he had a team best 13 kills while hitting .550 and added 8 digs and 4 blocks).
