    Joelle Bekhazi of the women's water polo team and Murphy Troy of the men's volleyball team were named the USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (April 5) for the week of March 29-April 4.

    The junior Bekhazi scored 10 goals in three games, including hitting a new career high in back-to-back USC wins. After two goals scored against Brown, Bekhazi scored eight goals during USC's double-header day. With four goals against Cal State Bakersfield and also against Cal State Northridge, Bekhazi set a new career high for herself and also improved her season scoring mark up to 36 goals on the year. Bekhazi's scoring effort helped the Trojans to three more home wins, extending USC's win streak to 15 straight for a 17-1 overall record.

    Troy, also a junior, had 22 kills, a career-best 15 digs and 5 blocks in USC's 5-set home win over No. 11 UC Irvine on April 1. Then, in the Trojans' home sweep over No. 7 UCLA on April 3, Troy had a match-high 18 kills while hitting a season-best .485 and he added 4 digs and 3 blocks.
