Forel Davies of women's water polo, Zsofia Erdelyi of women's track and Blake Shaw of men's track were named the USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 29) for the week of March 22-28.

The senior Davies was perfect on opening sprints in two games, going 7-for-7 along with seven goals, five steals and two ejections drawn as USC beat Long Beach State and San Diego State. Davies opened the stretch with a career-high six-goal effort against Long Beach State, doubling her previous career best. She had half of USC's scoring by halftime with five goals scored in the first two periods. She now has 19 goals this season. USC's wins this week improved the Trojans to 14-1 overall, and the win over SDSU puts USC at 3-0 in MPSF play.

The junior Erdelyi improved her school record in the grueling 10000m race with a time of 9:18.75 at the Stanford Invitational on March 26. It was her first 10000m race of the season and her time ranks third in the country. Erdelyi originally set the school record with a time of 33:39.89 last summer. She also holds the school record in the 5000m and 3000m steeplechase races.

The sophomore Shaw placed third among college runners at the Stanford Invitational on March 26 with a PR of 3:45.66 in the 1500m race. That time moved him from seventh to sixth on USC's all-time list in the event and he currently ranks fourth in the country in the event.
