    Ashley Corral of the women's basketball team, Logan Odom of the baseball team and Vladimir Morozov of the men's swim team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 28) for the Week of March 21-27.

    Women's Basketball: Ashley Corral: Coral led USC past host Colorado for an 87-70 win in the WNIT Quarterfinals last Sunday. Corral hit a career-high seven 3-pointers for the Trojans on the way to a 32-point day by the junior guard. Her first career 30-point outing was the most points scored by a Trojan since 1997, and makes her just the third USC player to score 30 points or more in a postseason tournament game. USC improves to 23-12 overall and will now visit Illinois State in the WNIT Semifinals on Wednesday (March 30

    Baseball: Logan Odom: Odom led USC to a 6-2 win over the No. 24 UCLA Bruins, 6-2, in the final game of a Pac-10 Conference series at Dedeaux Field last Sunday. Odom pitched another gem for USC (9-15, 1-2) in his second start against UCLA (11-8, 2-1) this season. Odom allowed just one run on two hits in seven innings with three walks and a season-high seven strikeouts.

    Men's Swimming: Vladimir Morozov: Freshman Vladimir Morozov finished fourth in the 100y free and spearheaded USC's All-American 400y free relay that finished third, both in school-record fashion, as the Trojans finished seventh on the final day of the 2011 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minn. Morozov, sixth in the 50y free on Thursday, qualified seventh for the 100y free final with a 42.36 in prelims. In the final, swimming out of lane 1, Morozov lowered his school record for the seventh time this year, this time from 41.92 to 41.88, 0.04 out of third. Pac-10 rival Nathan Adrian, who squeaked into the final with an eighth in prelims, won the final in 41.10. Morozov, who totaled four All-American honors this year, is the first Trojan to earn All-American honors in the 50y and 100y free in the same year since Bjorn Zikarsky in 1991.
