Rebecca Soni, Corey White and Ryan Cook were selected the USC Wells Fargo Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 24) for the week of March 17-23.

The junior Soni won the 100-yard and 200-yard breastroke titles at the 2008 NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. It was Soni's third 200-yard breastroke title, becoming just the fourth female to win that title three times. Her time of 2:06.32 set the NCAA meet record.

White, a redshirt junior on the men's track and field team, won the javelin competition at the Trojan Invitational with a throw of 241-8. His mark is second all-time by a Trojan, trailing only Nils Fearnley's mark of 244-8 set in 1995 and is the top collegiate mark this season.

The junior Cook recorded his first career complete-game shutout to defeat No. 2 Arizona 5-0 on March 23. The right-hander allowed just three hits and struck out five, while walking one. Arizona entered the game with a team batting average of .323.
