Victoria Ishimatsu of the women's swimming and diving team and Brandon Estrada of the men's track and field team were named the USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 15) for the week of March 8-14.

The sophomore diver Ishimatsu won the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard diving titles at the 2010 Zone E Championships in Austin, Texas last week and moves on to the NCAA Championships held March 18-20 at Purdue. Ishimatsu was also the Pac-10 champion in both events this season. Ishimatsu placed fifth at the 2009 NCAA Championships in the 1-M to earn All-America honors.

The redshirt senior Estrada cleared 17-6.5 feet (5.35m) to tie for seventh at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. and earn All-America honors. Estrada tied for the fourth-best clearance in the competition, but due to misses tied for seventh. Estrada cleared 18-0.5 feet (5.50m) on March 6 to move him into a fourth-place tie on USC's all-time pole vault list.
