Swimmer Dillon Connolly and distrance runner Shea Wickland were named USC's Wells Fargo Student-Athletes of the Week today (March 9) for the week of March 2-8.

The sophomore Connolly won the 200-yard breaststroke consolation final at the Pac-10 Championships while setting a USC record with a time of 1:55.47. He bettered the school record by .77 seconds and helped lead the Trojans to a fourth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships.

Wickland, a redshirt freshman on the track and field team, ran in her first race for USC and first-ever 10000m race at the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton and won with a time of 36:16.00. Her time was the third-fastest 10000m race ever run by a Trojan female.
