Ashley Corral of the women's basketball team, Gabrielle DeSimone of the women's tennis team and Tony Ciarelli of the men's volleyball team were named USC Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week today (Feb 27) for the week of Feb 20-26.

Women's Basketball: Senior guard Ashley Corral moved up to No. 11 all-time in career scoring at USC with her 17-point outing in a 78-62 win over Arizona. The next day - Senior Day at USC - Corral served up five more assists against ASU, including the game-tying assist with 5:15 to go before she shouldered the scoring load late in the game with nine points in the last five minutes to help USC to a comeback win against the Sun Devils. Her 10 points against ASU also bumped the senior across the 1,500 career point threshold. With 10 assists in the two wins, Corral is now just seven assists away from taking over as USC's No. 3 all-time assists leader. USC now holds a four-game winning streak, improving to 16-11 overall and taking over third place in the conference at 10-6 with the crucial win over ASU.

Women's Tennis: Freshman Gabriella DeSimone picked up Pac-12 Player of the Week honors -- the first such awards of her career. DeSimone served up two match-clinching singles wins last week, including a winner in the Trojans' upset victory over No. 5 California to snap a five-match losing skid for USC against the Bears. DeSimone opened the week with an impressive three-set comeback win that clinched an eventual 7-0 USC win over UC Santa Barbara. USC's 4-3 decision over the Bears was the second upset win over a top-10 team for the Trojans this season. The winning week improved the No. 7 USC women to 9-1 overall. DeSimone is now 13-5 overall in singles and 8-1 in dual match play.

Men's Volleyball: Tony Ciarelli had a team-best 17 kills to go along with 8 digs and 4 blocks to help No. 6 win at No. 11 Pacific in 4 sets. He then had a match-best 28 kills while hitting .451 and he added 11 digs as USC posted a 5-set upset at No. 1 Stanford (Ciarelli had the match-end kill in the 15-13 fifth set). He was named MPSF Player of the Week for his efforts.
