Trojan Dance Force is USC's official dance team comprised of 14 dedicated, talented, and diverse women. Modeled after professional NBA & NFL dance teams, the Trojan Dance Force is known for the hard-hitting hip-hop and jazz styles they bring to every USC home basketball game. Since August, the team has prepared 13 basketball routines, and worked with seven well-known choreographers. The team looks forward to every performance for our Trojan Family in the 2007-2008 basketball season.

The Trojan Dance Force is also USC's only Athletic-Sponsored competitive dance team. The team travels to Las Vegas on Feb. 10 2008 to compete for the USA National Championship. In 2006 & 2007 the team won 1st Runner-Up for the National Championship at USA Collegiate Dance Nationals in Las Vegas, and were finalists for the National Championship at NDA Collegiate Dance Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL. Since November, the team has worked tirelessly to prepare their 2008 Nationals Routine by well-known competition choreographer, Karl Mundt.

The Trojan Dance Force was founded in 1994 for the specific purpose of providing support and entertainment at Women's Basketball Games. Created at the request Trojan Basketball legend, Lisa Leslie, the original Trojan Dance Force members took the court with the mission of bringing the energy of funk and jazz dance to USC basketball. The Trojan Dance Force introduced an unparalleled passion for performance--and basketball games have since never been the same.

Today, you recognize the Trojan Dance Force as the "ladies in black" who take the court at every Men and Women's home basketball game. In addition to basketball, the 14-member dance team also performs at countless university functions and various alumni and private events. Such events include tailgate parties, Nintendo DS product launch, store grand openings, and alumni birthday celebrations. In everything that we do, our team remains committed to the University we love, the athletic teams we support, and the Trojan Family we entertain.

Keep a lookout for our 2007-2008 TDF Poster sold prior to every home basketball game. All sales directly benefit Trojan Dance Force and will be used for team expenses including uniforms, competition travel, choreographers, and team upkeep.

Relationships with family, friends, and alumni are very important to us. Thank you for your continued support...FIGHT ON!
