Lovemark Climbing Up

USC men's golf alum Jamie Lovemark has spent most of his career working his way through the tour trying to earn his card on the big stage.  Now a full-time PGA pro, he is playing the best golf of his life as evidenced by a 12th place finish this weekend at the RBC Canadian Open.

Lovemark burst onto the professional scene in 2009 when he lost a playoff to finish second at the Open, but this is his best result since his rookie season.  He earned $101,888 for the strong showing, and he has now made four consecutive cuts.

The 26-year-old is ranked No. 181 in the world having made $290,464 this season.  He was a two-time All-American at USC including winning the 2007 NCAA individual title.
