Solomon's American Champ

USC alum Duane Solomon sprinted to a first place finish in the 800m highlighting several standout performances by Trojans at the USA Track & Field Championships in Sacramento.  Solomon posted a winning time of 1:44.30 to make it back-to-back U.S. titles for the 2012 Olympian.

"I think my best way to race is to run like this," said Solomon. "If I run like this every race, I'm going to be hard to beat."

Several Trojans littered the Top 5 in other events including Ryan Wilson and Aleec Harris, who finished second and fourth respectively in the 110m HH, as well as NCAA champion Reggie Wyatt, who grabbed third in the 400m IH.
